About Dr. Meyer

Dr. Meyer is a 1986 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. While both an undergraduate and veterinary student, she spent six years working with Dr. Victoria Voith in Penn’s Behavior Clinic. After nine years in general practice, she devoted five years to operating a national program tracking adverse events associated with medications used in animals.

In 2000, Dr. Meyer returned to the study and practice of Behavioral Medicine, taking over 200 hours of continuing education courses related to behavioral medicine and participating in more than 50 cases with Dr. Ilana Reisner, the director of the Behavior Clinic at Penn. In her private practice, Dr. Meyer employs non-painful techniques that utilize current scientific knowledge in learning theory, animal behavior, and psychopharmacology to treat animal behavior problems.
